What Can I Expect on My First Oil Change with Lubripro Oil Treatment?

After your first oil change, you may notice that the oil appears darker. This is normal. As Lubripro works to remove deposits and contaminants, future oil changes will remain cleaner for longer with continued use.

How Often Should I Use Lubripro Oil Treatment?

To maintain optimal performance and protection, we recommend adding Lubripro at every oil change.

How Much Lubripro Should I Add?

Treatment Ratios:

Engine: 1 oz Lubripro per 1 quart of motor oil
(For best results, use 2 oz per 1 quart of motor oil.)

Differentials: 2 oz per 1 quart of gear oil

Transfer Case: 2 oz per 1 quart of oil

Power Steering Pump: 1–2 oz per 1 quart of oil

Automatic Transmission: 2 oz MAX

Manual Transmission: 1 oz per 1 quart of transmission fluid

Do I Need to Drain Oil Before Adding Lubripro?

If adding Lubripro to used oil, ensure there is adequate space by draining a small amount beforehand.

Do not add Lubripro to a full crankcase, as exceeding your engine’s maximum oil capacity can cause damage. If your dipstick reads below the maximum mark, you can typically add Lubripro without draining oil first.

Is Lubripro Compatible with Synthetic and Conventional Oils?

Yes. Lubripro is fully compatible with both synthetic and conventional engine oils.

Can I Use Lubripro in Motorcycles with Wet Clutches?

Yes. Use 1 oz of Lubripro per quart of engine oil in motorcycles with wet clutches.

However, always check your owner’s manual to confirm it does not prohibit the use of friction modifiers.

Metal-to-fiber wet clutches: OK ✅

Metal-to-metal wet clutches: NOT recommended ❌

Will Lubripro Void My Warranty?

No. Under the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act, consumers are allowed to use aftermarket additives without automatically voiding their warranty, unless a specific additive has been identified as incompatible.

Vehicle manufacturers cannot void a warranty simply because an aftermarket product or additive is used.

Should My Engine Be Broken In Before Using Lubripro?

Yes. New engines require proper friction during the break-in period. We recommend following your manufacturer’s specified break-in guidelines before adding Lubripro Oil Treatment.
